My God is Just Too Good!

I am not sure what the future holds when it comes to many things... my job, finances, housing... but i know that God is in control. It is hard however to know this biblical truth and actually walk it out when life just seems to throw you one curve ball after another. When you are simply sitting in limbo not knowing where to go next or what to do. But when i was feeling this way this is the devotion that the Lord gave me.

All that night the Lord drove the sea back. (Exo 14:21)

In this verse, there is a comforting message showing how God works during darkness. The real work of God for the children of Israel did not happen when they awoke that morning to find they could cross the Red Sea, but it occurred "all that night".
There may be a great work occurrring in your life when things seems their darkest. You may see no evidence yet, but God is at work.

How amazing is my God that He would give me the perfect devotional in my time of distress and need. My God doesn't sleep or take vactions. My God cares for me. For me enought to send His only son to bridge the gap that sin caused in our relationship with God. Why don't I simply trust that God is working and already knows the answer. Praise God for the many blessings that He has given me and for always being there and having plans that surpass my thoughts or understanding.
